Introduction: 14C is one of the fifteen radionuclides that account for at least 99 % radiation dose to critical group population from NPP emission sources. The continuous growth total capacity operating NPPs leads a significant increase in amount 14С emitted into environment during operation. Efficient capture and disposal 14C, which has half-life 5760 years, very laborious undertaking. At same time, due high mobility this radionuclide, local foci contamination with can appear both near distance 1–2 km its ventilation pipe, soil plants located 20–30 transfer air masses. Therefore, control formation operation nuclear power plants, content emissions discharges as well distribution an urgent problem today. Purpose: Analysis environmental pollution radiocarbon Kurskaya plant. Material methods: During research, method being developed by specialists Laboratory Radiation Safety Personnel was used determine specific activity vegetation.
